The New Millennium Public school is the brain child of its founder-chairman Smt.Chaya Ranganatha and Administrator Sri. H. Ranganatha. The objective of the school is to make the dream of getting quality education-easily accessible and affordable. This institution was started off to cater to the educational needs of the children who earnestly want an opportunity to foster and harness their talents.
As Years rolled by, our motto of imparting quality education to the students who were normally from a moderate or underprivileged back ground gained momentum. Here are a few memorable moments of the school which grew into its present status with the blessings of lord almighty, Untiring effort of its management and the teaching fraternity as well as the support of parents and philanthropists.
It was started in the year 2000, with 23 students joining us to mould themselves into strong individuals in a rented building.
During the academic year 2003-04, we shifted to our own building with a strong mind and hope of a better future to provide the 400 and odd students a good and secure environment for learning.
The school which started off only with kinder garden saw its first batch of 7th standard students graduate and pass out with flying colors and joining prestigious high schools for pursuing their future education.
Technological know-how is very important for us in these days. Visualizing it far ahead of others, the school management set up a fully fledged computer lab during the academic year 2008-09, with the latest software and trained professionals who would support the students to be technically sound.
The academic year 2009-10 saw a big leap when we started our own secondary school with the continued support and beliefs of the parents and well-wishers.
January 2010 geared the teaching-learning group with another bounty, When SMART CLASSES; a method of teaching using projectors and animations was brought into the class-rooms. A facility which was only a privilege of the prestigious and most acclaimed institutions was now made available to the scribes of our school right from the KG classes to secondary school.
The MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT in our books which we would record with pride and hope was the SSLC results for the academic year 2011-12. It was the first batch of 10th students who made us proud is securing 100% result in their board exams.
Till date, the forth coming batches of 10th, are also securing 100% result in their board exams and day by day, the students securing distinctions and first class has increased, making us further happy and setting high standards for us.
As it is said, a healthy mind resides in a healthy body; we pay a lot of importance to the sports related activities as well. We have a full fledged band troop, which has won many inter school prizes and participated in many displays. The students of our school have participated in various zonal, taluk level and district level sports competitions and have come back with awards in individual, group and athletic events. During the academic year 2015-16, the Bharth Scouts is also introduced in the school and we are hoping to see active participation of students in the movement of self-discipline and confidence building activity.
It is a matter of pride to share that participated in the state level March past display representing the students Association for road safety, at the Manek Shah Parade Grounds during the republic Day celebrations for the year 2013 and came back with a First prize at the state level. Even during the republic day celebration of 2017, we exhibited our talent and were awarded for the second time.
The academic year 2015-16 saw another improvement where KARADI PATH English communication, Yoga, Karate, Music, Dance and Individual Science Kits was introduced to the students. The thought here was to make the children comfortable and communicative in the international language, to be physically, mentally all round development of the child to be practical exposure to the subject Knowledge.
Apart from the regular calendar of events, the school encourages children to participate in many activities of the school like the celebration of National festivals, School elections, talents week, inter class competitions, art and science clubs and many more activities of the school.
Our teaching fraternity will further encourage the students to exhibit their talents in inter-School competitions and all other co-curricular activities where the children exhibit their talents, worth giving recognition.
Today we have with us a strong teaching faculty which is well qualified and trained in imparting quality education guided by holistic and moralistic values which is the need of the hour.
In our effort to give a tailor made education to the students, the school is trying hard to upgrade itself to the present standards and give children a strong educative and moral base on which they can build a bright future for themselves.
Today we have around 800 students in our school gearing up for the ultimate flight with lot of confidence and enriched with Knowledge.
We have with us around 45 faculty members including the teaching, non-teaching and supporting staff members putting their efforts to educate the scribes and visualize our dreams into action.
We hope that a bird's view our instruction has been a source of information about our self.
